Service Alberta Wins Three International PACE Awards

The American Association of Motor Vehicles Administrators (AAMVA) (external site) has awarded Service Alberta three international Public Affairs and Consumer Education (PACE) awards at the recent annual AAMVA international conference in Orlando.

Fifteen international winners were chosen from 63 regional award winners. Of the 15, seven awards were granted to Canadian jurisdictions: Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. PACE awards recognize excellence in a number of categories.

Service Alberta’s AAMVA international awards are in the following categories:

  • External newsletter/newspaper category: "CRE8APL8" - Alberta's Next Licence Plate

  • External website category: "CRE8APL8" - Alberta's Next Licence Plate

  • Marketing campaign category: Changing Faces Identity Theft Education Kit

The Changing Faces DVD was also nominated earlier this year for an Alberta Motion Picture Industries Association (AMPIA) Award in the Best Drama Under 60 Minutes category.
